Most fur-lined slippers are bought in December, worn until March, and quietly replaced the following winter. These are made in Italy from nappa leather, come in seven colours, and fold into a matching pouch, which puts them in a different category entirely.

Pink, navy, black, red, yellow, mint and white. Each one comes with a zip pouch cut from the same embossed leather. It is a small thing and it is the reason these work as a present in a way that a boxed slipper never does.

Leather on the outside, so they survive being seen
Full-grain nappa with crocodile embossing. The usual fur slipper is something you take off before answering the door. This one you don't have to.

It still folds
Heel sleeve off, slipper flat, into the pouch. A fur-lined slipper you can actually pack is a rarer thing than it sounds.
